Toolpoints is our way of rewarding customer loyalty. For every £1 spent on web orders over £100, you collect Toolpoints.
What's in it for you?
It's simple - the more points you collect the more you'll benefit! Toolpoints can be redeemed for Toolstream products and marketing support. Also up for grabs are the latest gadgets – iPad, Amazon Kindle, Xbox 360, Tom Tom XL IQ, and the Apple iPod Touch.

Toolpoints FAQ
Toolpoints is our reward scheme where you can earn points as you shop and redeem them for a range of gifts from the latest gadgets and vouchers to merchandise and even marketing support.
You won’t be automatically registered for the Toolpoints scheme when you create a Toolstream account, but you can sign up at any time on the Toolstream website. All you need to do is log into your account, visit the Toolpoints page and click ‘Activate Toolpoints’.
All you need to do is log into your account at Toolstream.com and visit the Toolpoints page. Click 'Activate Toolpoints’ and you’ll automatically begin earning Toolpoints on every order over £100.
Once you have signed up to Toolpoints you will earn 1 point per £ on every order over £100 placed on Toolstream.com. Points will be added to your automatically, please allow up to 4 days for your points to show after placing an order.
There are some common reasons points may not be applied to your account when you place an order. It could be one of the following;
- You have not registered for the scheme.
When you create a Toolstream account you aren’t automatically registered for Toolpoints. If you’d like to register for the scheme simply log into your account at Toolstream.com, visit the Toolpoints page and click 'Activate Toolpoints’.
- You have multiple accounts.
If you have multiple Toolstream accounts which are linked together, points will only accrue on your main (invoice) account. Don’t worry, you won’t miss out on orders placed on other accounts. Points for all orders placed on all accounts will total in that one place, just make sure your main account is registered for the scheme.
- Your order was below £100.
Points will be added to your account for all orders placed online with a value of over £100.
- The points are still processing.
If you have just placed your order, please allow up to 4 days for the points to display on your account.
You can use your points to redeem a range of items including gift vouchers, technology, days out and even Toolstream credit. You can view these on the Toolpoints page when you log into your account.
Many vouchers are purchased in the form of eVouchers, and these will be sent to the primary email address on your account. If you’re expecting them but they are not in your Inbox, please check your Junk and Spam folders as they will be sent directly from the retailer so may be filtered by your email provider. Gift items such as technology will be sent by post. Please note these will be delivered separately from your Toolstream product orders.
Within the Toolpoints scheme there’s the option to redeem set values of Toolstream credit. These will then be added to your account and used against future transactions. However, it isn’t possible to exchange vouchers directly for cash.
If you’ve ordered a voucher, this will likely have been sent via email. Please check your Junk and Spam folders as they are sent directly from the retailer so may be filtered by your email provider. If you’ve ordered a gift item such as technology, this will be sent by post. Please allow a couple of days from the order showing as processed for delivery. If you still haven’t received your item, please raise a ticket here and our customer services team will investigate for you.
To view your toolpoints, login to your account and visit the Toolpoints page. Your points total will be displayed in the top left corner.
Yes. If you’ve opened a new account and would like to transfer the points from your old account, simply register for Toolpoints on your new account then raise a ticket here or contact your Account Manager to request the transfer.
Unfortunately, we do not have the facility to process payments in this way or offer invoices for the ‘cash’ element of the transaction. Toolpoints orders must be fully covered by the points total available.
Toolpoints orders can be cancelled up until the point they have been processed. Please contact your Account Manager and let them know which items you would like to cancel. Once an order has been processed, we cannot cancel your order or refund the points.
Toolpoints gifts are processed separately to Toolstream orders so they won’t arrive with your products. You can track the progress of any Toolpoints orders here so you know when to expect your delivery.
Toolpoints orders are sent to the primary address, or email address for e-vouchers, on the account. If you’d like them to be sent elsewhere, please raise a ticket here or contact your Account Manager.
Toolpoints is a web-based scheme and is only applicable to orders placed via the Toolstream website. Unfortunately, we’re not able to credit points for orders placed via other channels.
