Ordering

Ordering products online is easy. There are four ways to order so you can choose the one that suits you. Either select and add to your basket as you browse or use one of our speedy bulk upload ordering methods detailed below.

 

  • Quick Select & Checkout – Browse and select as you go before checking out.

  • Express Basket – Specify products and quantities and they’ll be added to your basket ready for checkout.

  • Excel Drop Zone – Build your order on an Excel spreadsheet and upload to your basket.

  • EDI (Electronic Data Interchange System) - Automated ordering process that’s scheduled to your specific needs.

Ordering FAQ

Once you’re logged into your Toolstream account, select ‘Bulk Upload’ in the navigation bar. You can choose to upload a CSV file containing the SKUs and quantities you’d like to order, or type/copy the details into the text field provided. Select ‘Upload’ and the products will be added to your basket. If there are any errors, such as out of stock items, these will be displayed in the errors table or in the text field for any invalid SKUs.

Once you’ve uploaded your items via Bulk Upload, any out-of-stock lines will be shown in the Errors table at the top of the page. To clear all out-of-stock lines, just click ‘Clear all out of stock products’ below the table. Another option is to add all out-of-stock items to your Favourites by clicking ‘Add out of stock products to Favourites’ and you’ll be notified when these items are back in stock.

To use the express lane just enter the SKU of the product required followed by the quantity, then click 'Add to Basket'. These products will be added to your basket and any errors will display below.

Unfortunately, once an order has been placed it can’t be amended.

If you need to cancel your order it’s important that you contact Customer Services immediately on 01935 382222. They’ll do their best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

To track your order, access ‘My orders’ from the ‘My account’ section. Find your chosen order and click 'Track order'. Your tracking information will then display in the pop-up window.

Sometimes products in your basket may be removed and this is because the product became unavailable at the time you ordered. With 15000 customers using Toolstream.com, another customer may order and pay for the same products at the same time. As products are sold on a first come, first serve basis the customer who completed the purchase first will receive the products available.

 

However, you can add any removed items to your Stockwatch list and you’ll receive an automatic notification once they’re back in stock. You can do this here.

We’re sorry your promotional code isn’t working. There are a few details you can double check:

  • Make sure the promotion hasn’t ended - end dates can be found in the promotion T&Cs
  • If the voucher requires a certain spend value, check you have at least this amount in your basket Is the voucher for specific products or brands?
  • Check you have these in your basket
  • Check the code has been entered correctly - promotional codes are case sensitive
  • Have you used this code before? Most codes are only valid for one use – check the T&Cs here

When viewing your basket you can amend the quantity of each product using the +/- buttons or by typing the quantity into the text box.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to place an order for products that are currently out of stock. However, you can be notified of our latest stock updates by using our Favourites feature

When viewing a product the available stock is provided in the pricing table. Stock information is also available in the data export from data services.

When a product is out of stock, the stock level in the pricing table is replaced with a stock replenishment date. Stock replenishment dates are also available in the data export from data services. You can also add out of stock items to your Favourites list and we’ll notify you as soon as they’re back in stock.

Our stock replenishment dates are based on the latest information we have available and can change if we experience amends to our production or shipping schedules.

Our brands are exclusive to Toolstream and unfortunately resellers cannot buy them anywhere else. All our brands available to purchase are listed on the home screen of our website.

 

Our brands are available to non-registered customers for purchase from a variety of retailers which can be found on our exclusive brand websites.

Drop Ship FAQs

We only dropship Van Vault products and currently this is not a service that can be facilitated through the website. For more information, please contact sales@toolstream.com
